Timur, a student at the St. Petersburg State University and frequent participant in anti-fascist meetings and Food Not Bombs, was murdered by nazis in St Petersburg. more
Eric McDavid: Update after the hunger strike
from supporteric.org, 27 November 2007: Yesterday (Monday 26 November) Eric called to tell us that they took him down to the doctor to “officially” end his hunger strike ... Now that Eric is eating and his heart condition seems to have passed (for now), it seems likely that the blood tests might serve only to absolve the jail of any responsibility for his previous conditions ... However, if they test for the right things, they might be helpful in proving that Eric is in dire need of vegan food, as he is most certainly not getting the nutrition his body requires. more
Paris: More than 80 police injured in new French riots
30 November 2007: Things seem to have calmed down a bit now, after Monday night's confrontations. 120 french police are reported as injured, but as yet no figures have been given for the injured from the cités.
